So all the talk about Christmas and homemade Christmas snacks made me hungry for my Christmas biscuits so I just HAD to whip up a test batch. I found a family of gingerbread people biscuit cutters in Sainsburys for the bargain price of £1.75 and although the mixture comes out quite wet the shapes turned out better than I expected. I then dipped them in some
dark chocolate (the perfect partner to ginger) and added a little sparkle.
They are currently in the fridge waiting for the chocolate to set in readiness for Papa to test when he comes off his late shift...if they last that long!
I like gingerbread people with faces, but I find them hard to eat (same thing with jelly babies, it's like being a cannibal!), but here are some ideas I found via Pinterest of ways to decorate your Christmas biscuits.
